Hi, I'm Janneke Verbeek (she/her), I am a PhD candidate at Radboud University's department of Data Science supervised by Yuliya Shapovalova and Tom Heskes. My research interests include changepoint detection, Gaussian processes and their applications, uncertainty quantification and statistical machine learning.

I spend my free time on Goju Ryu karate (2nd dan, IOGKF), bouldering, origami and reading (non-fiction, or sci-fi/fantasy). I also enjoy hands-on projects of all kinds (from cookery to tech).
